AEROSHA: Movement Monologue (5/10)

Our Signature Exploration Experience (for all bodies with 5+ previous sessions)

May 10 @ 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm
Springfield, MO

AEROSHA: Movement Monologues represents the pinnacle expression of our artistic revelation—a profound journey into autonomous creative movement where sensuality and liberation intertwine in the darkness.

Having established foundational fluency through previous AEROSHA experiences (such as Prologue or previous Series Classes), this advanced happening invites you to transcend limitation and enter the realm where your body authors its own unique narrative through movement.

Where Movement Prologue introduces participants to the vocabulary of sensory awareness, Movement Monologue invites you to compose your own poetry of sensation and explore the rich borderlands between structure and surrender, between form and formlessness, between the deliberate and the spontaneous.

In our sacred darkened sanctuary, verbal guidance recedes, creating space for your deepest creative impulses to emerge. This is movement as conversation with the self—a dialogue between conscious intention and subconscious expression, between the known and the yet-to-be-discovered territories of your embodied landscape.

The carefully curated sonic journey becomes your creative accomplice, offering textural inspiration that might evoke visceral memories, unlock emotional reservoirs, or transport you to imagined realms where different laws of physics apply.

Movement Monologues participants often describe profound emotional release, states of flow where time seems to suspend, and revelatory moments of intimate breakthrough. Many report accessing expanded states of consciousness—as if the body, when fully trusted and freed from intellectual direction, becomes a vessel for wisdom beyond ordinary awareness.

This is AEROSHA in its purest form—a living, breathing art-happening that continues to evolve with each embodied conversation between self and sensation, between history and possibility, between the individual and the collective creative field.

WHAT TO BRING

  • Optional Yoga mat (for comfort and defining personal space, we do provide our signature mat for you so this would be in addition to that, as desired)
  • Small blanket or throw (for added warmth and comfort during closing integration and/or as a textural movement partner)
  • Water bottle (optional if you want it near you—we provide drinking water as needed)
  • Comfortable layers of clothing (see “What to Wear” for details), optional props or embellishments, as inspired.

All other elements of the experience will be provided in our carefully curated environment. If you have special requests or concerns, please reach out to AeroshaHQ@gmail.com anytime.

WHAT TO WEAR

The Aerosha space is intentionally darkened, freeing you from visual self-consciousness. There is no “correct” attire—only what allows you to move authentically. Please note that while we celebrate creative expression, all participants remain fully clothed throughout the experience.

Clothing should ideally allow free movement while providing expression, comfort, and coziness.

We recommend:

  • Layers that can be adjusted as your body temperature changes
  • Soft, stretchy fabrics that allow full range of motion
  • Clothing that makes you feel both comfortable and expressive
  • Socks and legwear are welcome and encouraged for warmth and self-expression (sliding)
  • Optional props or embellishments, as inspired.

For your comfort:

  • Kneepads are available for take-home purchase.
  • Clean “used” kneepads are available for your use.

EXPERIENCE STRUCTURE (Approximately, 120-minute session)

  • Arrival & Welcome (10 minutes) Brief orientation to the space and concepts
  • Sensory Adjustment (10 minutes) Guided transition into the darkened environment

This structure serves as a flexible container, allowing the experience to unfold organically according to the collective energy of the gathering. This event is held in a private, intimate AEROSHA pop-up space in Springfield, Missouri, approximately 10 minutes west of Alamo Theatre, just off of Highway 60.

Our space offers a proper parking lot and ensures complete privacy for our event. Exact directions, parking instructions, and entry details will be provided upon registration confirmation.

Doors will open 30-minutes before the event and will strictly close at the scheduled time of the event. We suggest you arrive no less than 15-minutes early to get settled.

Movement Monologues requires prior participation in at least 5+ AEROSHA Movement experiences*, though we recommend 10+. This prerequisite ensures all participants have developed comfort with the foundational elements and darkened environment, allowing for a deeper, more autonomous exploration of sensual self-expression.

*Previous experiences can include any combination of Movement Prologues or past AEROSHA Workshops, Series, or Classes. If you’re uncertain about your readiness, please contact Rachael directly to discuss your concerns at rachael@aeosha.com.

  • NOTE: Participants may repeat the Monologue experience indefinitely, as no two Monologues gatherings are exactly alike—each unfolds organically according to the collective energy and intentions of those present.
  • NOTE: Photo, video, audio, are never permitted in any Aerosha space to protect privacy of the participants and sanctity of the space. Rachael is available to book private photo sessions, space is limited, please inquire via email at rachael@aerosha.com.
