This month, we’re thrilled to spotlight Marisol Vega, a multidisciplinary artist from Santa Fe, New Mexico. Marisol blends traditional weaving techniques with modern digital projections, creating immersive installations that explore themes of memory, migration, and cultural resilience. Her latest series, Threads of Light, uses hand-dyed textiles interwoven with fiber-optic cables to tell stories inspired by her grandmother’s journey across the Southwest. Marisol’s work has been featured in galleries across the country, and she’s quickly becoming a voice for preserving Indigenous craftsmanship while pushing artistic boundaries. Catch her upcoming solo exhibit at the Mesa Art Collective later this month!
